They work as advertised. They also seem to have the same duration from full charge to depleted as the go pro batteries. I have used them about 4 times. I put the camera on a chest mount and it runs until the battery is depleted.
I would say they last about 1 hour and 10 minutes recording 1080/60. When I record 2.7 k/24/48 they only last about 45 minutes but the camera is recording and storing much more data so I am still pleased.

Honestamente muy buen producto, las bacterias son del mismo tamaño que las originales, la uso en la Gopro Hero 9 y el funcionamiento es excelente, funciona el indicador de baterÃa y su duración es muy similar a la original, he grabado hasta 2 horas sin inconvenientes. El cargador es relativamente rápido, demora en cargar ambas baterÃas cerca de una hora. Lastima que este pack no incluya el adaptador de corriente, de lo contrario fuera el combo perfecto. Lo recomiendo 100% precio valor es excelente. El producto fue entregado a tiempo.

Don’t be fooled by buying from Wasabi Power Battery (2-Pack) and Dual Charger… These batteries will fit/work… However, if your GoPro 8 is recently flashed with new firmware than these batteries will work however you will lose features of your camera. Your best off buying the GoPro 8 Charger and Extra Battery that comes with it for $45. Or GoPro membership get half off then order the GoPro Charger extra battery from GoPro website. This IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY AND WASTE OF TIME.

WARNING (Hero 8 users): These battery will NOT work. I received these a couple days ago. Put it in my GoPro Hero 8 Black and the pop up showed up. Contacted the seller and they said it’s because my GoPro’s firmware… I know my GoPro is up to date according to the GoPro app. Don’t buy!

I’ve used Wasabi batteries in various cameras for a very long time so when I got a new GoPro Hero8 I thought I’d try these instead of the GoPro Batteries.
First impressions are very favorable. I tried both the new GoPro battery, fully charged in the camera and the new Wasabi battery, charged in the stand charger that came with the order.
Run at the factory-initial 1080p/60fps, sitting still on my desk indoors at room temperature (the dullest action-camera test ever) with time for cooling between runs, the total life of the GoPro was 75.1 minutes, and the Wasabi was 74.2 minutes — 98.8% as good (and they were charged with different methods which may explain the slight difference).
Given that the whole kit from Wasabi (two batteries and a charger) currently costs the same as a single GoPro battery alone, the choice is clear. Time will tell about longevity, but I’ve never had an issue with their batteries expiring prematurely – some are nearly a decade old in my older cameras and work fine.

Exactly as expected, the camera complained once about using branded batteries, but I can’t tell if there has been any difference in camera behavior. Would buy again if needed.

Bought this as a add on to my Hero 8 Black purchase.
Purchased almost 2 months ago so the little time i have used the OEM go pro battery.
This week took a long trip as soonmy OEM batt went to 10% i popped in this battery to continue filming a once in a lifetime trip, 10 min later, camera shuts off. Put in the send batt, last only 5 min. Years of planning this trip, thinking i will capture everything with my “spare” batteries. What a disappointment. Can’t even return since i am “outside” the return window.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!
