Bought this clamp arm for my home security camera. The screw that goes into the camera itself is too large so it won’t work.

It’s very sturdy but hard to move around. The clamp is also much bigger than I anticipated and hard to open and close

This is my second purchase. Originally, I bought one to mount a second camera as a document camera on my desk. It did well, but I no longer need it for that. I bought the second one because I now use them for mounting a pair of LED light panels for fill light when I’m in a Zoom meeting. I recently upgraded those LEDs for a couple of 250-275g Viltrox lights. The Smatree clamps hold them up well and are instantly adjustable. I can also use them for worklights at my worktable (soldering, miniatures, etc.).

i have a razer kiyo that i use for streaming, and clamping it to my monitor just wasn’t giving me the most optimal angle and whatnot. i opted for this product because i have my monitors on a mount and could clamp this to the arm holding my main monitor. it is the perfect length, and having the adjustability of the ball mount is great for me in case i ever want to adjust for a top down desk view or whatever. my pictures so how it is attached for me (janky light strips wrapped around, don’t mind them lol) and although it isn’t the prettiest, it works for me. so far, so good! will update if i run into any problems, but considering i won’t be moving it–like, at all–i’m sure it will hold up just fine!

I just got this webcam mount. I clamped it to the monitor mount and now I have free movement to aim my webcam as needed. Solved my problem for just a few bucks. This webcam mount is very study. The clamp is very strong. It looks like the quality of the product is good. I am please with this product.

I needed something to hold a secondary webcam for when I do my crafting streams on twitch. Was looking at many possibilities but eventually settled on this. The arm is easy to maneuver and bend to get it at the position you want it too, only con about this item is I wish it would of been a little bigger and the jaw clamp is hard to open fully.

I got it for my 1080p Ashu webcam, that thing does not clip on to anything to save its life. However this handle little clamp does the trick.
First, the Ashu has a screw-in spot to presumably be mounted on a tripod, so that worked out of the box. The clip itself is super strong and just hangs on to my monitor stand. I wish it were a little bit longer, but there is enough give and flexibility to make the perfect setup. The webcam now peeks out from above my monitor.

    Very happy.

Delivery was faster than advertised, even in the midst of the coronavirus.

Bulkier and heavier than anticipated, but this should guarantee durability. Includes a couple attachments for most any camera application, but it would have been nice if manufacturer included instructions for use of the attachments.

Don’t try this at home? I use the Smartree 13-Inch to hold my webcam further in front of my screen (see picture), so it in effect it is zoomed in to show my head larger and reveal less wide of a background, even when I sit back on my chair. The clamp holds tight and requires a strong squeeze when you attach or remove. The top edge border/bezel of MY 17″ laptop screen is sturdy and wide enough to handle Smartree’s tight grip. On the camera end of Smartree’s 13″ stalk is a ball joint that swivels about 30 degrees from center in any direction, and then is held or loosed by tightening an adjustment ring. The stalk is flexible and holds firm.

I wiped the length of the flexible stalk with a scrub pad and dish water to remove the strong chemical smell that put me off when I first unpacked the Smartree. Now it’s fine

Because of the way my….computer setup is ..setup… I needed something to get the webcam closer to me because the Mic quality was not good from even half a foot away. So, I clamped this on the side of the small table I use for my keyboard and mouse, and now the Mic quality is a huge improvement. I also prefer the sort of side view of the webcam instead of straight on. This was simple to do after about 1 minute of trying to figure out how my webcam would go on there. For everyone with a C920, it comes with a threaded tip that you unscrew. After you take that off, you can now screw in your webcam. Don’t overdue it. Turn it around enough so its just about firm then use the ring that is part of the stand to tighten it up against the webcam.

A good well made clamp. A bit stiff but once positioned it doesn’t move. Attaches easily to my webcam.
