First off, i thinking about returning it because of firmware problems. Was told it would be fixed in the next release which is 3 months away. Not good if your writing custom app for it. About a 3 weeks after that i started having a problem with tilt not going to full 90 up. When i did decide to return it i was 3 days past the Amazon time frame.
Was getting tired of the Optics telling me no one else was having a problem like i was. Well, so what. Mine is having a problem with the tilt. Sent an email requesting an RMA to send back, after 3 days had not heard back so called them.
that’s when i was told about no one else has that problem. Finally they did offer to give me an RMA.
I an’t gonna worry about it now. I’ll do this one, like i do all the other items i buy when something like this happens, dump it in the trash and buy something better. I will say, i’ll miss that 30x zoom on it. Thinking about it, i did find some with 40x and 50x. Have to go back and have a look them. They are not PTZ Optics.

To turn off you have to be in front. Value for the money, too costly.

Using as main camera in church auditorium, mounted 40’ from stage and 10’ high on back wall. Feeding sound directly to camera from AUX out on main soundboard and outputting video + audio to 1×8 4K HDMI splitter for TVs throughout building and Black Magic Video monitor to record for DVD/streaming. Controlling camera with included IR remote while we learn how to best use the system, and plan to add joystick control and a second camera later. Fantastic image quality and great level of customized control/settings.

We installed it very high up in our church, so the remote control for the PTZ functions is great. After setting the presets 0-9, all you have to do is point at the camera and press the number for the desired camera preset.
In the camera web interface you can set up to 254 presets, but anything numbered over 9 must be accessed through this interface. Over all it has been a great choice for needs.
Our camera is 75 feet from the altar. The pic shows it zoomed to a 22 foot wide shot (the altar is 22 feet wide) and there is a lot of zoom left.

The only two things I do not like about this camera is. 1st the way it turns on and off is frustrating. Had this camera in for 3 weeks now to live stream a church service, and no one can seem to tell when it is powered on or powered off to use. 2nd issue is you have to be directly in front of this camera to turn it on or off. We really wish there was a way to turn this on from the side. But just like a TV, you have to be mostly in front of the unit to turn int on or off. Other than that, we really are please with this camera and the image quality, and would recommend this camera to others

Bought this camera to be our “b” camera. It’s now our “A” camera. So easy to program, so easy to integrate into whatever applications you may already be using. The shots are crisp and true. The only drawback is that there is some “lurchiness” to the movements, so you want to do adjustments off-feed.

Bought three of these for our church to live-stream video. When the cameras were stationed about 20 feet from the altar, the white balance was way off. Our white robes and paraments were practically glowing. Once we got them placed in the rear of the sanctuary, though, everything was great.

I am very impressed by the construction quality and picture quality of this camera. We use this to live stream our church services. Like many, I was thrown into video by covid having never really done any before. We finally went this route and spent a little more to have a higher quality camera. This camera was as simple as plugging the power in and connecting the hdmi to the computer. For a camera with a fairly achievable price range this is an excellent option.
