I love the product! It works well with my current set up and keeps my slider in tact. I would really like some replacement screws that fell off from the end that screws to the slider. I’d like to get some ! Awesome product over all

Set of two support arms with a total of four ball 1/4″ ball heads, and two clamps. I wish they included four clamps instead of just two, but I’ve been able to make these work with the just the two. Each support arms has the ability to expand up to twice it’s length via a telescoping section. Deceptively lightweight for how strong these are, great product overall.

I took my time to make a video review showing whether this slider support works or not, and my conclusion is that while it helps, it all comes down to what kind of tripod you are using.
A long slider like the one I used, 48 inches long, with a heavy fluid video tripod head on top and a DSLR camera will cause the slider to swing from side to side. If using a light weigh or cheap tripod to hold the slider, it will definitely cause the whole setup to fall. With this NEEWER support arms, the tripod won’t fall, but the slider will definitely move all over the place as seen in the video I included.
Then I used a medium size video tripod, which also can’t handle the video slider on its own, but with the NEEWER support arms it does the job. While I think it will completely stop any movement between the slider and the tripod with better adjustment, the movement I got was minimal with the quick setup I did.
So this is my conclusion, the NEEWER support arms for camera sliders works as long as the tripod used can handle the weight of the slider and camera. If I was to use my shorter slider with only the camera, my cheap tripod would handle it with ease with the help of the support arms. But if you have a big setup, you’ll need a bigger and heavier tripod. Obviously, while the idea of using this support arms is to carry less and lighter equipment, because tripods have 3 legs and how they are positioned, there’s only so much this support arms can do.

Neewer Camera Slider Support Arm Stabilizer, 2-Pack Carbon Fiber Adjustable Tripod Stability
On a few occasions I’ve had to use two tripods with my slider which isn’t really practical in terms of portability and weight, not really a problem if in-house. This slider support from ‘Neewer’ is completely made from carbon fibre, fitting in with their vast range of products, thus eliminating any extra weight and basically does away with the need for a second tripod.
This attached to my 1m Neweer slider via the 1/4″ threads with the other end utilising non-slip, rubber coated clamps which can take up to 2″ tripod thickness. The arms can extend from 23.2″ to 37.8″ and this adjustment is fast due to the twist lock clamps, I would’ve liked this type of connection at the tripod junctions rather than having to spend time untightening and then retightening again.
In use it works very well, zero movement on the camera feed, even when the slider is inclined, these support arms hold the slider firm, can’t fault it to be honest.
The price is an issue, I already have support arms which cost half the price but they aren’t made from carbon fibre and thus carry added weight, so it has always been a choice between my extra tripod or the support arms. This from Neweer would make me opt for them all the time but because I don’t go out in the field much with this equipment then I wouldn’t really buy this, having said that, for frequent users then these arms offer both lightweight and strength.
Overall, priced at £82.99, this is probably aimed at those that will make use of such equipment, more so when travelling, with the current 10% voucher available, then it becomes within reach for the occasional use.

Neewer Camera Slider Support Arm Stabilizer, 2-Pack Carbon Fiber Adjustable Tripod Stability Arm for Increasing Stability, Extendable Poles for Camera Video Slider with (2)C Clamps, (4)BallHead –ST33
These slider support arms definitely help, But they don’t solve all the problems. They set up pretty easily –start by screwing into the slider itself at one end and then clamp to a leg. Repeat on the other side. A lot of things are going to determine just how well these are going to work –number one being how robust your tripod is. I did not set it up on my heaviest tripod and there was a little movement but it wasn’t very bad I think a lot of that is also going to depend on how big your camera is and how fast you’re running the slider.
But it’s a whole lot better than without using them. Without them My experience was pretty much a seesaw. With them there’s a little bit of stutter here and there but not really that bad–And I have to say that’s actually an exaggeration. I think if I use them with a much more robust professional style tripod they would basically eliminate all movement.
Would I recommend them? Absolutely. They solve a big part of the movement problem, with longer sliders. Theyre not exactly perfect–But I think a lot of that is determined by the tripod and your other equipment.

I bought these to stabilize my 38″ slider on my tripod after watching footage dip at each end of the slider. These work well and will from now on be packed with my slider.

The arm supports work if you don’t have to re-adjust them. but I was using them on a video shoot and had to re-adjust the hight of the tripod when trying to re-adjust them the head came unscrewed forcing me to remove the support so that I could put it back together. Product very frustrating to use.

First impression:
???? This is a pair of camera rig support arms in metal and carbon fibre. Each comes with a single clamp that can attach at either end using the ¼“ x 20 thread posts. Each end also features a ball joint for changing the attachment angle and there is a 90-degree cut-out in the body so that the ball post can be securely locked at 90 degrees. The locking lever has an attractive red anodised finish and also unlocks the end to swivel in 360 degrees. The twist locking mechanism on the arm is firm and secure. The ball end mounts are rubberised for better grip on equipment and carry the usual knurled edges.
What I liked:
✔️ The carbon fibre construction reduces the weight a lot but provides a very strong and stable material. It looks quite attractive too.
✔️ The set has some versatility and the clamps can be mixed and matched to suit arrangements, particularly if you have a heavy bit of kit that needs some extra support or bracing to keep it in place. I have used them with a clamp at both ends to brace between a stand leg and an upright.
✔️ Each clamp also has a 3/8 threaded hole for attaching extra accessories and you can get hold of reducers from the same source to get this down to ¼“ x 20 thread if required.
✔️ The arms have a good range extending from 21” to 34”.
Anything I didn’t like so much:
❌ I found it sometimes difficult to remember which way to twist the locking mechanism once the arm was unlocked and I often find myself unlocking it further.
Conclusion:
✅ There are a really useful set of support arms, and probably best carried in place on your kit. It is also possible to link two together for a really long arm, although you will need an intermediary adapter for that. Apart from photography, I also used one to support a microphone stand that kept drooping on me by using both clamps. I like the versatility and although they are expensive due to the carbon fibre, that material is the only way to keep the weight down and make them robust enough. I have used aluminium poles and one dent and they no longer expand at all.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Light, compact, and sturdy slider support arms for sliders. On my test, it actually worked pretty well on a short slider but I still have to test it out on a longer slider. If anything changes I will update my review but for now enjoy the pictures I took of this product.

I am a hobby photographer.
I know and like the Neewer brand products very well.
I have bought many things from the company and tested all kinds of products from them.
Basically, I am satisfied with the brand and they products.
I am currently testing a Camera Stabilizer arm.
I have to admit, I have tried many things from the brand, but I am the happiest with this product so far.
From the first impression, I could see that I had received a product representing premium quality.
It can be used simply and easily.
The parts that can be fixed, the screw threads are solid and work well.
The tilting and rotating both head. Provides a stable attachment.
In fact, it is a multifunctional device that complements a photo tripod.
I recommend with good hart!
Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.

These slider support arms arrived well packed in Neewer’s traditional, simple, brown Neewer branded cardboard box. Inside are the two arms, 4 x ball head mounts and 2 x clamps.
As with most of the Neewer equipment I have, the ball head mounts, clamps, and the carbon fibre arms are well made and finished.
The arms are nice and easy to set up. You just connect two ball head mounts to either end of each arm, and then attach a clamp to one end of each arm.
In order to support the slider, you screw the ball head mount end of an arm to the end of the slider, and then extend the arm and attach the clamp end to the leg of your tripod. Once in place you can tighten everything up to secure all the joints in place. You then do the same for the other arm.
In use the arms gave a great deal of support to the slider and allowed me to use it away from the flat surfaces I had been limiting myself to. All the mounts and clamps worked well and were easy to tighten and loosen. The clamps have a rubber lining in the jaws which helps prevent them marking your tripod.
The great thing about the arms is they are adjustable enough to allow you to tilt the slider to get some interestingly angled shots, yet still have it fully supported and stabilized.
The only negative is a lack of a bag. However, I found the arms light weight and small enough to slip into my existing tripod bag.
In conclusion, these arms are well made, light weight, and work as expected. So I have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars.
