Awesome light and great value! The Neewer is impressing me. This is one of their more expensive lights but it is good! Super bright, sturdy. People have complained about the fan being loud, maybe my light just hasn’t gotten hot enough but the fan is super quiet.
The remote is great to have. Overall, love the light. Works with all Bowen mount diffusers which is great!

Overall i liked a lot. Price is good and boy these are bright.
only downside was fan noise. Since i wanted for video, it was no use for me. If you need for photos, they’re great.

Me gusto, lo que no me informe es que es 6500k pero lo demás muy bien

The light itself is solid, sturdy, and performs well, with great color CRI. It gets plenty bright for any indoor location, and could even suit as a moonlight or sun in an outdoor location if set right. The remote is so-so. It takes 2xAAA batteries, but doesn’t really do much. It also only moves up/down at a set speed. The back brightness knob also isn’t my favorite. It’s an endless encoder that has no acceleration, so you need to spin it at least 10 or so times to get from 0-100 brightness. The power switch on the bottom is nice though, so you’re not hunting around on the back for the switch. You’d best buy a more sturdy light stand for this, as the bog standard amazon ones feel very flimsy with this (plus a softbox).

Super bright, built very well and price is very good

Love the output and build quality upgrade from using the Godox SL60 lights. The stand mount is actually metal and doesn’t strip like the plastic of the godox. Holds large soft boxes nicely without sinking

Good light in budget , if you want to save money and get a good continuous light, buy this. Forget expensive Godox or Aperture lights. I am a professional photographer and videographer, this is quite amazing at the price point.

[Edited as of March 11]
I purchased the Neewer 150W 5600K to use during paid shoots. It was great until I noticed the mount start to crack. I probably used it 5 or 6 times before it snapped off completely during a shoot. The mount is held together with 3 small pieces of plastic that clearly struggle to hold even the weight of the light itself. I felt absolutely foolish having to have my assistant hold my nearly $300 light because it was no longer capable of supporting itself.
After emailing Neewer and writing a review, Neewer offered to send me a replacement light. All I had to do was ship the broken one to them. Once they received the light they told me they would ship me a new one.
Instead of receiving a replacement light in the mail I received some old discontinued 60W light. I was told this was a mistake and that it wouldn’t happen again. At this point I was beyond frustrated and requested a refund. I ended up getting a refund but this refund did not account for the time lost as well as the frustration I went through being without the light. I ended up buying an Aperture light knowing I wouldn’t have any build quality issues.
Just spend a bit more money and buy something that isn’t made with cheap plastic.
Buy with caution, you get what you pay for.

It’s hard to beat this for the price. We have dozens of different lights like this and the newer is built well and functions great for its price.

As a commercial photographer, I’ve used Neewer’s line of products including tripods, strobes, light stands and modifiers in the past. This time I was on the market for a power packed LED Light. The previous LED light I owner by another brand just didn’t pack enough punch in terms of brightness for indoor food/product photography. So I ordered the Neewer 150W, 5600K dimmable LED Video Light and was impressed with the lighting technology, quality and accessories. Here is a detailed review after using the lights and accessories for a few photoshoots I did recently.
Power packed LED light: Neewer has intelligently packed 150W LED beads into the system, offering enough of brightness required for indoor photography. As a food/product photographer I realised that the former 60W LED light didn’t do the job. The Neewer LED light has a 97+ colour rendering index and produces true colours for my images and videos. I did a photoshoot for a restaurant recently and the lights performed really well. The premium heatsink technology and built-in fan offered excellent heat dissipation so the lights did not overheat.
Design and technology: The large-size LCD panel displays key parameters like brightness, channels and light temperature. The fan gets a tad noisy around 100% brightness, but honestly I do not need that much of light all the time. It is super easy to adjust the light head to direct the LED lights in different angles.
Build and accessory quality: The first thing I noticed out-of-the-box is the robust build quality of the LED light and the accessories that come with it. The system is not too heavy and mounts seamlessly on a $35 Neewer light stand, while ensuring great stability.
Accessories: The kit comes with a sleek 2.4G remote control that works great with AAA batteries. The protective cover ensures your LED light is safe while transporting. The universal bowen’s mount reflector fits snug. The power cord in the kit is long enough to move these lights across a small room.
Pricing: The 60w LED video light I owned previously cost me approximately $100 lesser than this one. But hey, I couldn’t go wrong paying a little extra to get about 1.5x or 100w more light. This was a huge deal breaker for me.
For a little less than CA $300 you get a high quality LED Video Lighting kit that is at par with continuous LED light products in the market. If you’re looking for high definition LED video lights that are compatible with most photographic equipment and additional accessories, this kit is a bang for your dollars. Thank you Neewer, for designing such great products at an affordable price!

I bought this to provide spotlight functionality for our pastor’s pulpit during live-steaming of worship services on Facebook. Because I wanted to ceiling mount the unit, the ability to control on/off functionality as well as brightness level with a remote control was important. It works wonderfully. I do recommend getting a snout adapter rather than using the supplied narrow-beam adapter, but that is simply a personal preference.
