I have tried several different mounts over the last couple of years. Most don’t hold the camera or phone securely, or they are cheaply made and break after the first shot from a foul ball against the fence. I have had great success with these so far. I bought 2 for my GoPro setup, and now I need one more exclusively for a phone.

I have used this fence mount for my gopro 8 black to record my daughters softball games. It is difficult to get the straps adjusted so you can lineup the camera in the fence holes. No mater how hard I try I cant get it lined up so you don’t see part of the fence in the frame. The camera mount is set back to far from the fence is the main reason. It will work for now but I am going to continue to look for better options.

I got this for use on mesh fences as it had clips and not just hooks. Will see if it’s durable enough to take a direct hit but for now it’s just what I needed and can’t complain about the price.

I’ve used this to attach my go pro knock off to the baseball backstop at a few games now. It’s pretty clunky and takes a lot of fiddling around to get the image level while also avoiding the fence in the viewfinder, especially if you have to take it all down to change the battery during the game. This is not a knock particular to this model necessarily, it would apply to all these bungy type mounts. I’m going to use the much simpler clip attachment that came with the camera going forward.

We’ve been using this for tennis matches and I love the way it quickly mounts to the fences. Unfortunately, after the 3rd use, the quick release buckle broke. I suggest you use the GoPro OEM piece or bring some just in case. Otherwise this is great!

Bought this to record my tennis games. Easy to put together and worked as advertised. Clips are sturdier than other similar products so hope they last a long time.
