Have the original charger but son borrowed it so I needed another backup. Didn’t want to pay out again for the gopro overpriced one, so tried this. So far so good. Slim and pocket sized, has a lid to keep all 3 batteries in, seems to charge all 3 batteries well enough. I think it’s a better design and footprint than the real thing. Yep, I’m a fan. Recommended.

Takes time to charge but I only need to carry just one battery charger with my batteries within, which is perfect space saver.

I purchased the MAXCAM charger since it looked like the perfect form factor, better than OEM. Unfortunately it’s not compliant with USB-C spec. It’s unable to charge from a USB C charger, even though it has a USB C port. It only charges from a USB A charger using a USB A to C adapter cable. This may sound just fine to some of you, that only planned on using a USB A charger anyway, but when something is out of spec like this, it’s entirely possible it could damage chargers or be a danger to use. I’d stay away.

Pros:
– great form factor
– nice materials
– acceptable price
Cons:
– wish charging port be on a short side, not on the bottom. Current location kills the “pocketness” of the device – it is impossible to charge batteries on the go.
– found some inconsistency in indication of charging status. Close to 80%+ battery life (displayed by gopro) indicator turns green for the battery. However eventually battery charges to 100% anyway.
– UPDATE: it doesn’t support PD. Not sure about QC. Just make sure that you connect it with USBA-USBC cable.

To be able to charge three batteries at one time for two hours or less what is the complaint? I am currently using this device to charge two batteries and it’s much quicker than charging on the camera itself. It does the job and provides the same battery charge as if it it was done through the camera.
Con: Does not come with an adapter but if you go on a treasure hunt you will be able to find an adapter that’s not in use and lost like I did! Lol

Very cheap. Batteries do not fit in case, and did not charge.

Amazing piece of kit to charge GoPro Hero 9 Black Batteries on the go! Works really well and very compact case. You can charge 3 x Batteries at the same time. The LED Indicators shows which battery is on charge and which is fully charged. I use the USB-C cable from GoPro to charge the case. Totally recommended.

Batteries do not fit well and takes several hours to charge just ONE battery

Very nice design and doing the job

Beware. This is NOT a portable charger. The case does not hold a charge. Has to be plugged in to charge batteries.

Brand new to GoPro but even setting up various video modes, trial video’s it seems these critters are power hungry hence charging case for 3 batteries (and also a safe carry case). Case seems really well made and compact despite housing 3 GoPro Hero 9 black charging batteries. My only question is ~ the batteries have 4 contact terminals and the official GoPro charger has 4 accommodating slots; but this device has only the 2 outer accommodating terminals❓❓❓
However, in the short time I’ve used it > it charges ok with red light for needing charged (or empty slot) and green light for charged. One light for each battery and a 4th light indicating power on.
Yep = it works well for me (to date) ✅

Much smaller than I anticipated. I just got it today so no much to say about durability. It is made of plastic to I assume it’s very fragile. Not waterproof and tiny. Very tiny and portable.
I charged an empty regular battery while waiting for three new endurance batteries and it took forever to charge. Not sure how long but it seemed longer than using the camera. Hopefully it will charge the new endurance batteries to their full capacity not just to the regular battery version. In any case, at the moment, since I wasn’t expecting it to be so small, I am more focused on the portability than the other potential drawbacks. Will see how it goes.

The slim form fits well in pockets and in my travel kit. I can confirm that this charger (model AX20-901) securely holds and charges a mix of GoPro-brand Standard and Enduro batteries. The case gets only slightly warm, even with the lid closed. There’s an appropriate amount of resistance when inserting a battery, enough such that the batteries keep charging while turning the charger upside down with the lid open and shaking it a bit. The batteries do rock a little when manipulated or shaken but this does not affect charging and it all feels adequately secure. Using a single Ailkin PD QC charger, I’m able to power this case with either the PD port (USB-C to USB-C cable) or QC 3.0 port (USB-A to USB-C cable) and simultaneously charge the GoPro 10 from the other port. The batteries charge slowly, but I only charge overnight, all 4 batteries are fully charged in the morning, and slow low-heat charging is better for battery life, so that’s exactly what I need. If you’re looking for a quick charge to 100% in the field, this isn’t it.
The only weird thing is that the charging status lights are bright when viewed from an angle but dim when viewed straight on. And it would be nice if the charging port were on the short edge rather than the long edge, but I’m not sure I’d like the necessary added length.
