When HSS and TTL used at the same time (with Canon EOS R6) images completely over exposed.

GoDox makes awesome speed lights and Speedlight triggers and this one work perfectly with both my of V860III speed lights.
Very reliable connectivity and fires them perfectly every time!

By now, most people know the deal with NEEWER products–they make high quality, highly functional accessories for content creators and sell them at a decent price point. That’s why I’ve got more of their products than I can count. This isn’t anything too fancy–a wireless flash trigger. I got one for my Sony ZV-1 to trigger for speedlights and strobelights. It worked great, so I picked up one for my Canon PowerShot as well. For my needs, the light setups don’t get too complex, but if you do have more elaborate needs it can handle five groups and 32 channels. Excellent product which is what NEEWER always delivers. Highly recommended!

I bought pretty heavily into the Godox system…and while I have started moving on to the Profoto gear, I still have two studios worth of lights that are all Flashpoint and Godox brand gear. In the past, I’ve used both the Xpro and the X2T…I always loved the Xpro the best.
The Xpro was always a little more intuitive (in my opinion) and easier to dial in on the fly. It was a little nicer looking on my camera, and overall it always had great responsiveness….enter the second generation of my favorite flash trigger.
The design is a little blocker than my Xpro, but given that it adds the ability to connect to Godox’s mobile app, I guess that is to be expected (more hardware, bigger shell, right?)
So basically, I get the same great functionality and responsiveness and I get the ability to make adjustments and test fire from my phone (which is awesome when I’m metering my lights in).
If you’re using Godox, then you probably already have an idea of what to expect, and there isn’t much that’s new that I can tell you. But I do love this upgraded piece of hardware.

This second-generation Godox trigger is quite nice. Very easy review here, because it just literally plugged and played with my lights and my outboard receivers.
I sure wish that all manufacturers would standardize their comms, as I have more flash controllers than any human being should have to own. In a better world, they’d all speak the same language so I would not have FIVE different ecosystems to deal with.
But that said, if I eventually sell some of my speedlights to consolidate, I will likely consolidate in the Godox ecosystem, as this is by far the best trigger system of all that I use.
Five stars for an excellent 2nd gen product. It’s a great time to be alive.

I will be using this trigger for my one Godox flash and with receivers for my two Canon Speedlites. This is much cheaper than the OEM version, and seems to work just as well. Even though the build of the Godox components are not as good as Canon, I’ll only be using this trigger indoors and/or in studio so as long as I don’t drop it, it should last me the lifetime of the flashes. Lastly, I like this is compatible with the new Canon firmware and the R5/R6 line. I’ve been waiting for Godox to upgrade their trigger to be compatible with all the options these new cameras offer. If you have at least one Godox flash and don’t need the Canon nameplate, these triggers are a much better barigain than the Canon ones even with having to buy the Godox receivers.
