Works well with godox flash. Took some time to figure out configuration but once done it was easy to use. Takes AA battery which I am.glad it does. It is hard to find an outlet to charge my camera,flash and phone. Yet to test it with multiple lights

I mainly use this trigger with my sony A7 IV with Godox AD 200 Pro and Godox V1s set up
Both are triggered manually on 2 different channels.
Faster recycles and HSS , TTL modes available.
Works seamlessly and quick set up for professional as well as outdoor portrait photography.

I purchased one of these to work with my Sony A77 mark II camera, and, be warned, it is NOT compatible with the old Sony/Minolta iISO hotshoe. The description says it is compatible with the A77, but it will only work with the PC sync port, and, even then, only if you use a PC to minijack cable.
I regularly use the same Xpro transmitter with my Canon 7D, at work. So, I like the performance of these transmitters. I just wish the listing showed an image of the hotshoe, so I could know with which sony hotshoe it would work.

I’ve only tested this remote in my house. I accidentally built a strobist kit. This is the piece that holds it together. Regularly I use my ProFoto lights for assignments but this GOdox kit was so cheap it just made sense to keep it for some lower budget jobs where I don’t want to bring my expensive strobes. I don’t mind checking this in on a trip. Good product

Friggin awesome trigger system from Godox. I use to use pocket wizards…combination of tt5’s, ac3’s, etc. the PW’s were great when they worked, but horribly inconsistent. Everything would be great when testing at home, but always had issues in the field. I’d look like a fool in front of Clients while trying to troubleshoot. Don’t even get me started on the price of PW. Switched over to the Godox system and everything just works! Not only that,I can use different brand flashes within the same system. Make sure you check compatibility first.
The range on the Godox system despise the seem as good as the PW’s, but it’s more than enough for me. I can ever imagine having to trigger from more than 100-200ft away, if that. Being able to change power, groups, exp comp, etc….all from this controller! I shoot Sony and Canon, so, I’m able to trigger my flash setup with either camera and the appropriate trigger on the shoe mount. Serious, replacing all my PW’s with the Godox equivalent costs me as much as buying 1-2 tt5s.

I don’t use a flash often but do like the idea of cordless, off camera control. If you have a compatible Godox flash, this unit allows just that. It does what it says it does and gives me another tool for creatvity.
One watch out – the user “manual” is about as descript as a bar coaster. Thanlfully, there are some good YouTube videos that help you pair it with your camea and also show ease of use.
