For a sub-$100 field monitor, this is the best. Supports 23.98fps (when some monitors only support 29.97/60hz), great image quality, bright screen, and long use life when using an extended NP-F970 battery… But I have to knock it one star for not including a Power Supply, even though it supports a 12V source. Granted they let you know in the item description, I still have to knock it because they’re cheap enough for the manufacturer to producer/procure… So just include it!

looks great, neat control capabilities.

Necesita una salida de hdmi no solo la entrada

Very useful to have such a big monitor. The buttons are nice and easy to touch since none of them are those “press for X seconds to turn on”. You just press things once and that’s it. It saves time and looks amazing!

I’ve been doing wedding videography for a couple of years now and have noticed that generally speaking the only camera angles that I am confident are in focus was the one that my assistant used a video monitor for. Otherwise, using the back of the camera or the EVF just wasn’t getting me there, especially when I am using a Log profile that flattens the image. I wanted to try a cheap monitor first to see if it would cut it and I am proud to report that in spite of the somewhat low monitor resolution, the screen is just big enough to confidently pull focus.
Sure, it would be nice to load a LUT onto the monitor or have any of the other features that my Atomos Shinobi has, but this monitor was a quarter of the price of that monitor so I can’t really complain too much. I’m considering picking up another one of these in the future!

Ok, so I get it. This is mentioned (buried) in the product description. But this item is worthless without a battery pack or power cord. So why even bother? Amazon and the manufacture give you no input or suggestion as to where you should purchase these items. They don’t even give you guidance about WHAT batteries (they appear to need a special sized lithium battery – not exactly something you find in your battery drawer just laying around) or power cords you need in the description so you can track them down yourself while you purchase it. I mean, talk about poor customer service and product design!
Maybe this is a common thing for professional photographers to deal with, but I am not one. This was purchased for work project where we were using a camera to take picture scans of a large folio. We bought it so we would not have to stand on a chair over the frame. Still ended up standing on a chair because we opened the product only to discover we had to track down additional specially pieces just to make it work. Which means it is worthless to us. I don’t need to spend precious time tracking down parts that should just be included with an electronic device. So it will be returned.

This product is fine. It’s literally exactly as described, it does it’s job, it does exactly what it says it will- nothing more, nothing less; but please trust me when I say, unless you are putting this on a tripod camera exclusively, or this is for a director/tech for their ease of stationary viewing, or you have some massive beefy rig, you do not by any means need a 7 inch. Trust me when I say that it is just too dang big. Do yourself a favor, and get a 5 inch
Mich Valencia –
Great quality for the price. Slim and compact.
SUKANT RATNAKAR –
Bel appareil, mais inutilisable, car il manque la batterie. Ce n’est pas professionnel.

When connecting the battery the orange light goes on but when pressing the on button nothing happens. Well, almost nothing. The screen goes from black to very dark grey but that is it. Never goes to blue screen and no image from camera.

Easy to use. Works great. Crazy low price.

Cheap Sales Tricks
Wonder how can an electronic device be used without an electric supply.
No battery
No power cable
No solar panel
