Packaging was nicely done. Box feels quality. There was a little dent underneath, but must’ve happened during transit. Good thing it was in a case. I have a Canon 70D, so the hdmi to mini worked. There was a second hdmi cord: a micro hdmi. Cords feel durable, however a DSLR cage would be recommended to prevent damage. Buttons worked nice. Definitely better than looking at my dslr’s screen.

    build:
screen feels like medium quality plastic, pretty durable. Strong quality plastic is like the plastic used to make my canon 50mm stm.

the control arm to mount the monitor onto a cold shoe is not perfectly centered, which is why it can be adjusted with the allen screw connection. it still wiggles around, which is fine because then i can adjust it to be centered, not a big problem i guess. monitor is still pretty cool. i did notice that the control arm is not level (which could just be gravity). So the screen is slightly sloping down at the end not connected to the arm.

shade mount was already installed. the shade feels delicate, so be delicate removing it. i’ve seen other people complaining that the velcro will detach from the mount or from the shade. thinking proactively, you could always replace the velcro.

i’ve always had canon batteries, so this sony-like battery is weird for me. i’ve charged the battery for awhile now and the charger still shows red. when the battery is not installed into the charger, the light is green. not sure how dead the battery was when received. but even after 10 minutes of charging, i was able to test the screen and mess around with it.

my only con, which is kind of big:
it’s cool that this monitor comes with a travel case, but it’s pretty compact. after taking everything out, i was confused how to put things back in like how it was initially. the biggest con of this is that the screen is tightly squeezed underneath. i have respectively small fingers, and even i’m cautious of pulling the screen out because i don’t want to damage it. you practically have to pull on the shade mount from the side for it to come out. that’s kind of dangerous because you’re not pulling the screen itself, so this can potentially damage the attachment. if this travel case was just .5-1 inch larger in all dimensions, it would be a greater fit. ALSO, the travel case and inside documents says andycine which lets you know they’re basically the same company too lol. the packaging doesn’t say feelworld, but the monitor does.

this will be updated if anything happens. but so far, really good value.

its not too heavy. picture quality is great, needed no adjustments out of the box could clearly see the monitor under full sun, have not tried the menus and its adjustments and other features but as a straight up monitor so far its great. my 2 knocks on it are no pass threw hdmi , which i didn’t consider important until i used it a little and realized it might be useful. second is the pilot light remains on when monitor is off and a power source is still attached. to be fair i dont think this red led will draw down your battery but if you case your camera away for a week or so to my mind you dont want that led running your battery dead.

The picture quality of this monitor is very impressive. As a filmmaker and pixel-peeper, my main concern was finding a reference monitor that accurately reproduces the camera’s image without breaking the bank. So if that describes you, look no further. The included bracket, battery, and HDMI cable had me up and running within seconds on my Sony A7III rig. Even though a 5.7” monitor sounds like overkill atop a mirrorless DSLR, it’s really a optimal size. I find myself not looking at the built in camera display anymore, unless it’s to change a setting — which was unexpected, because I have always doubted the need to use an external monitor on a camera rig up
til now. The Sony A7III’s built in display is fairly small, and does not do a good job of hiding the pixels when you get up close to it to frame your shot. The Feelworld F6, on the other hand, has no visible pixels nor matter how close you get to it. Everything looks sharp and accurate, as it should.

My only complaints are that when you have a battery attached to the monitor and power it off, the power indicator light turns from blue to red, rather than from blue to off. If stored for long periods of time with the battery attached, this little light will eventually drain your battery to 0. So be aware of that.

My second complaint is if you’ve ever pushed on or flexed a display before and seen it change colors due to pressure, this monitor suffers from that very slightly on the top where the edge of the plastic contacts with the display. Rather than being black, it has a hint of white to it because it’s being pushed on by the edge of the housing. But it’s not noticeable at all during normal use, just very subtly when it’s on black waiting for an input signal.

HI i found this monitor on amazon and what attracted me to it was the fact that it came with everything you needed to get started. I am new to using Cameras for recording so i don’t know all the features yet bet everything seems very easy to use and looks way better than that tiny 3 inch screen. I would def buy again.

This item has worked ok for the most part. I haven’t been blown away with it but it gets the job done. I have had some issues with the screen showing half black and I have had issues with the batter now not working so I have to buy a new battery for it. The charge base won’t charge it. I have had it now a year. The screen issue kinda just fixed itself and it seems to drain the battery really fast. One major thing I don’t like is it’ll drain the battery just with the battery plugged into the screen and not on. So I have to wait till the exact moment I’m going to use it. And then when I’m on a down moment I take it out so it doesn’t drain. But for a quick cheaper option it works. I do want to upgrade later.
