Probably my biggest complain with this is the screw knob for the monitor on the bracket. Its a sort of lever. It really should be round. The lever must be twisted when taking the monitor on and off the bracket and it crosses right over the coldshoe. That means you need a cold shoe extension and it must go on the camera and the monitor bracket must mount to that extension. It’s alot of headache over the fact that the wrong style of screw end was used.
The picture quality on the monitor is great. I actually dont love the touch screen because if you inadvertently touch the screen the submenus pop up. Kind of annoying.
The only other gripe I have is the placement of the buttons on the top. They are mostly ok but the batter attaches right behind them so you end up pressing/putting unwanted pressure on the buttons to get the battery out. The battery slot has a button you have to press to get the battery to release. Probably not needed and I didn’t notice it at first.
I’ve used this several nights and the battery lasts my entire shoot. I bought extra batteries and have never used them.
Overall pretty happy with this monitor. Does what I want it to do.

I needed a 5″ monitor quickly for a night time shoot, and stumbled upon this one via some YouTube reviews. This monitor is packed with features, and shows how far affordable monitor tech has come.
The touch screen is responsive, the display color is adjustable (a feature not found on many far more expensive monitors), it offers LUT (look up table) support, false color, has two customizable buttons, and the interface is logical and easy to use. Having an HDMI output port is very handy, and not expected on a monitor at this price. The pass through NP-F style power attachment on the back is a real surprise, and will work as shown with my Hollyland wireless transmitter. The sun hood is simple, but easy to attach and will help when dealing with the low monitor brightness and reflection.
The few drawbacks are minor considering the low price of this product: Low monitor brightness and no SDI support. I do wish the focus peaking had a threshold control, as it is overly aggressive. Build is light weight plastic, so it may not be super durable. The battery seems to remain “active” even if the power button is turned off. I don’t know if this will drain the battery or not….time will tell. The cold-shoe arm mount is OK, not great, but certainly better than nothing at all. Again, for the low price of this monitor, the few negatives are greatly outweighed by all the positives!

Using this monitor for the first time and had an issue with the mount. The screw just isn’t long enough, my monitor fell off my gimble multiple times because I’m unable to adjust the monitor due to the screw. The hole is started to get stripped out after one night. I may consider doing a return

Here with my honest review of the Feelworld F5 Pro monitor. I’ve shot indoors and outdoors with this monitor here’s my review. First off the price is amazing, you get great quality at such an affordable price. You would think the build quality would suffer being priced at $140, but i’m here to say it does not. The plastic build surprisingly feels tough and sturdy while in hand. Adding the tilt arm makes it even more secure. Speaking of the tilt arm, it is included with the monitor. Most monitors around this price point only comes with the monitor so not having to buy an extra accessory is a huge benefit that anyone can appreciate. The F5 Pro has Full HDMI In/Out for easy access to view and feed the video signal. And the display 1080p looks great, and can receive/outout 4k footage with no problem. This monitor is packed with so many features for real filmmaking. With the easy touch screen all the features are literally at your fingertips. The F5 Pro is jam packed with features : focus Peaking, nine grid, Histogram, anamorphic mode, and zoom in just to name a few. In addition to the touch screen this monitor still has tack-tile buttons on the top. To me the one thing that sets this apart is the included NP-f baseplate, the ability to install a wireless kit can easily be done. Just makes you think that Feelworld is really a forward thinking company. The screen could be brighter being only a 500nit monitor, but the Pros outweigh the cons with this monitor. Overall this is a great monitor, shooters new and old will enjoy the features it has. And at this price point, it’s truly another added bonus. Hope this review was helpful in your purchasing decision.

For the money, I don’t think you can get a better on camera monitor w/touchscreen. The touch screen access to menu and zoom features is such a time saver. False color, focus peaking, histogram etc are great features and available with couple taps right on screen. I do wish it had Waveform monitor, but most monitors in the price or well above normally don’t have them either. The sun shade is easy to mount and stays on securely via Velcro, and folds away nicely (you will need it to film in bright sun, this isn’t the brightest monitor rated at 500 Nits) but the sun screen works very well. The offset mounting arm works great and has locking nut to keep monitor in place, and is pretty low-profile, and also has an additional hot shot mount on the side if you want to mount a low-profile mic. Having the ability to add a wireless transmitter like the Mars400s (Or other Sony NPF battery accessory) to the back and power both is awesome. It keeps the unit nice and low profile, and I can power the Mars 400S with the Sony battery that’s powering the monitor at the same time. This really helps keep the rig compact, and with a NPF970 and the Mars 400s, the weight distribution evens itself out nicely. Much better than having the Transmitter handing off the side, or on another hot shoe mount. All in all, amazing bang for the buck!
