I like the design, which is clean and portable. While it’s not easy to switch between phone and tablet (require screwdriver), the teleprompter can be easily attached to the lens.
However, I put it on the 82 mm Tamron 24-70mm F2.8. I can see the vignetting and a bit of the screen (I used a 5.5 inch DSLR monitor) in the image. Using Canon 50mm is fine, but it seems like the lens creates a louder noise when focusing.

I had to recored 5 videos with a spokesperson talking about the products. There was too much to memorize so I got this inexpensive telepromter to give her all the words. It fit nicely on my 52mm filter mount on my camera (there are many different sized adapters). I emailed the text to my phone and copied it to the app. Then we experimented to find the best scroll rate. It worked great. The remote is ok, but not marked correctily for this app and a too many choices. But I really like it and recomment it.

Reasonably well made, and works fine. Light enough to not really weigh the rig down too much, and the glass seems fine. Lots of options for holding the phone/tablet and none work well for my 12Max. But I work it out.
Only issue is that reflection up from the prompter device is pretty pronounced and you have to be careful to manage it. On the whole great prompter for the money.
I don’t use their app, and so the remote control is of no value to me.

Two Cons:
1. The Remote analog stick does not actually scroll up and down, its just pause and play for some reason, I find it easier to just use my finger on the app instead.
2. This is not anyones fault but I didn’t realize the width would cause it to cover the view finder. So when I have this on I cant see myself on my Sony ZV E10. I just get in position with it off, then I put it back on, simple fix.
I see people are saying the instructions are in Chinese, but all you need to do is flip to the page that’s in English lol..
I don’t love the Desview app but its not terrible, it has speed settings, font size settings, it works with the remote and it’s easy to copy and paste your words onto there and edit. I use the free teleprompter app instead (with the blue app logo) since I don’t use the remote, I only use it because I want to adjust the margins. The smaller the margins the less your eyes look like their moving left to right, and since the teleprompter is pretty wide it’s easy to look like you’re reading something. Adjust the margins on this other app and you’ll be good.
It was easy to assemble, find the ring that fits your lens and attach it to the lens, then slide this sucker on. I’m happy with this purchase since it was cheaper than all the others and one of the very few that had a phone mount.

Very simple to install and works from a great distance, perhaps the only little problem is the remote control often loses the bluetooth connection (maybe the issue it’s from my phone, idk yet) and is made of a very simple plastic, which can break very quickly, especially if it’s often used. In addition, it is worth a lot for the price and effectiveness of a product for non-professionals.

I use this for my YouTube channel. It’s great once it’s setup but there are some issues you need to know about. First, if your phone is at max brightness, you’ll see the words reflect on your video. Second, the remote only starts and stops the scroll. The other functions don’t work. The app is very basic and not good. Simple copy and paste Of a script doesn’t work most of the time. How I managed to get it to work was copy and paste the script into my email and email it to myself. Open the email, copy, then paste into the promoter app. That worked. Load scripts before turning on and connecting the remote to your phone. After the remote is connected, you can’t create new scripts. The hardware itself is ok but the instructions are hard to understand. Bottom line, it’s great once you figure it out and get it setup but pack some patience. It’s not something you can use right out of the box.

The Desview T2 Teleprompter is a good solution for using an iPad with a mirrorless camera, in my case, an iPad mini and a Canon EOS R camera. The narrow edge of the iPad is just narrow enough to fit in the bracket, and the projected mirrored image was very easy to read from a distance of 6-7 feet.
It is not a heavy duty product — I would get something more substantial if you frequently need a teleprompter — but this device perfectly acceptable for occasional use. It’s a good solution at a reasonable price.
