I have a RAD Rover Step-through and the opening for the bolts is smaller than the RAD bolts by enough to not allow them through. Since it appears all similar mounts are the same way, I’m going to try to modify it and I’ll update here if I’m successful.
At a minimum, it’s going to require a purchase of new bolts and some careful drilling. The design is rugged enough so I think it will work.

Had another style unit that snapped off with my GoPro. This one is well made and has served me well so far. I like having the GoPro separate (on the lower two screws of the stem) and the computer on the upper two. This keeps vibration down between the two as well as distribute the additional weight on to two units, rather than all off of one.

Cheap! Screws broke and you cannot fully secure the neck of the bike so the handlebars will rotate. Not safe at all. Don’t recommend.

If you’re shopping for items like these, you’ve probably been to the REI Garage Sale. Nothing against REI, because their warranty is great, but the Garage Sale is just… wow. I’ve never been able to purchase anything at the Garage Sale. Someone wore these shoes for a year, and decided to return them to the REI because there are holes in them now? And REI wants $50 for them??
When I received this item, I was excited that I could mount the GoPro in a better location than on my helmet. That was until I pulled this out of the Amazon envelope and saw that this item had clearly been opened, torqued down and used, and repackaged. Not only that, the previous user crossthreaded and slightly deformed the threads on the bolts. Disappointing.

I purchased this bracket to use in a creative manner on my bike luggage rack to mount a rear camera.
I had to find my own screws and nuts to make this work but so far so good and I’m very pleased.
My first ride out with this camera installed, I was intentionally hit by a driver and I have good footage because this bracket held the camera steady.

It’s sturdy and light, I was a little skeptical at how it attaches to the headset but I haven’t had any issues so far! Attaches securely with no wobble like a rubber or stick on mount might do.

This kit is supplied with M5 bolts, but my stem has M6 bolts, so it didn’t fit. The hardware store has a 2-pack for $1.77, so that was all I needed. I also don’t like the fact that the attachment bolt has a hex head, so I need a tool to attach/remove the actual actioncam. But you can use a regular gopro thumb-screw as it is the same size. Overall, I think that the Gopro Bracket has cheaped-out, and for a few extra cents, they should have included the right accessories to make this kit complete. But at $10 bucks, it’s nob bad value overall, partciuarly since it is the MOST steady way to attach a gopro to a bike.

Great idea, great execution. Fits my stem bolts perfectly. Hardware is better than one might expect for the price. Absolutely no complaints. Mounted on mountain bike, I have several long, rocky rides on it. I wouldn’t mind knowing what type of aluminum it is, and if it had any heat treatment….I have a $50 camera mounted to it…it’s possible that I might feel differently about mounting a camera which cost actual money…Just buy it. UPDATE: many many more rides, still doing great. Lots of the stuff sold on amazon is disappointing, this item is still great. And I am not a paid reviewer, and I paid full price for item.
