The quality is far superior to what I expected. A great addition to my Osmo pocket, allows perfect close shots wit a professional look. I just wish the motor was a bit more silent but overall this is a great product, solid and high premium quality

Well, let me explain what a video dolly or slider is… To put simply a Video dolly / Slider is a camera mount on a track that allows you to obtain sweeping or in some cases circular circular shots. With the Andoer L4 AutoDolly you can achieve both of these types of shots with one device.
What’s Hot
+ Compact
+ Easy setup
+ Can be remotely controlled
+ Takes Smooth shots
+ Has ¼ inch thread so you can attach various devices and mounts to it.
+ Battery life
+ Easy to use
What not
– Requires Ideal environments
– Mine shipped with dead controller battery
– No indicators to line up the adjustable arms
Build Quality
While not the prettiest looking device I own its definitely not ugly. It is also built like a tank, seriously it has a nice satisfying heft to it. Normally I feel funny about mounting my expensive camera gear to anything that doesn’t come from a well known manufacturer but Andoer Autodolly feels very solid. It also capable of supporting up to 11lbs though i haven’t tried anything that heavy myself yet.
Performance:
So far so good. In all honestly my expectations were low due to the size of device, but it has been working fine with my mid-sized DSLR. On smooth flat surfaces video stability is fine so long as you have the stabilizer turned on in your camera. If you are using a lens without stabilization you should also be fine as long as you are filming something that isn’t directly in front of the lens. Also note that motor is loud enough to be picked up by any camera mounted mic so, record audio remotely.
Battery Life:
I can honestly say that this has excellent battery life. It sports a 1800mAh rechargeable battery that I only had to charge 1 so far. Andoer is claiming that it can run up to 6 hours on a charge and I will have to agree with that.
Value:
It kinda hard for me to place the value rating on this product. If you looking for the best bang for your buck you might as well look elsewhere, because you can find basic sliders for much cheaper. But this is not your basic slider. You can take both circular product shots as well as 360 and panorama shots. At an added plus it is motorized and can be controlled remotely via controller. The real question is this worth $125 for what you are trying to shoot?
Final Thoughts
This is a cool product that I can see myself using a lot being that I do product photography for work and, Photography / Cinematography in my spare time. The fact that it is so compact is a definite plus. There aren’t many motorized sliders / dollies that you can just throw in your camera back.

Ever since I got it, this autodolly has been my new favorite toy!! I always wanted to be able to create smooth, beautiful product review videos– but it’s no easy task when you are only using your hands.
With this, I have been able to create videos that look much more professional (even though I’m an amateur) and are much more appealing to other viewers. Unlike videos that were filmed with the camera in hand, there is little to no bounce, allowing viewers to enjoy the video instead of being distracted by poor filming.
Not only is it lightweight, but the dolly is non-bulky, as well–which allows me to leave it attached to my camera (even when I am carrying it around my neck). That way, it’s ready to go when I want to switch to video mode. In the product description, it claims to hold up to 11 pounds, but because it is so small, I was a little worried about its capability of holding such a large DSLR camera, in addition to a bulky lens. It has been no problem at all. I have been using a Canon 24-70mm ultrasonic lens. It hangs off the front of the dolly by quite a bit (maybe about 5-6 inches) but tipping has also not been an issue.
One thing I would like to point out, is that one of the stock photos shows an attachment for your cell phone. This does not come with one, but I have been using a phone mount which works wonderfully.
The orange rings that go on the wheels, tend to fall off easily. It’s best to pay close attention while using it and/or carrying it around, because it only comes with one replacement.
My remote arrived with a dead battery (so if yours is not working, start there. It takes a 3 volt cr2032 battery.)
The remote is not labeled, but is easy to figure out. The top circle button allows you to stop and start movement. The left and right buttons allow you to control direction and adjust between 3 speeds.
The two front wheels can be adjusted to have your dolly move straight or in a circle motion. The only downside is that it does not come with any type of markings to show if it is aligned properly. You may have to readjust the wheels a number of times until you get it to move exactly how you want it.

So I bought this with the intention of using it for tabletop work. It’s not great for working with small things. The dolly cannot handle too much weight without it starting to show erratic movement. It’s very finicky to balance right and will be frustrating to working with anything smaller than a water bottle. I do not recommend this for table-top work or with even a mirrorless camera. It works okay with a mobile phone, and on much larger subjects and only on the slowest speed.
Adding weight can help, but don’t over do it or the motor will not handle it.

It actually held up my Sony aR7ii with large lenses and was running with it like charm.
The battery lasts good as well, I charged it and traveled to Bali I used it a month later and it was fully charged. Thank you great product.
Clickable Tech –
Works well and has a remote control and plenty of attachment options.
Dolly is small, about palm sized but big enough for a smartphone although you will need a separate mount and screw.
Adjustable wheel angles for straight or curved tracking. Needs a smooth surface as carpet, tiles etc will cause minor camera shakes. Motor is not silent. I’m very happy with the purchase. I’m going to try my gamble on it which would do object tracking making some nice shots.

I did two tests, one with a Canon 70D with a 24-105L and one with a go pro. See included video for both tests.
The canon 70D with 105mm was pretty much at this thing’s max, and if I pointed the lens down, it tipped. So if you are going to use a heavy DSLR, with a medium sized lens, this might not be big enough for you. For the gopro, obviously it was fine. It comes with an attachment that allows you to attach either a camera directly to it or to ball head. But keep in mind, the more stuff you stack on this, the more chance it has of tipping if you put lots of weight on it.
Overall, this thing is neat and the remote is awesome. But at first I thought the two smaller buttons were both speed, one up and one down. But one is to toggle direction and one is to change the speed. Labels would have been cool. The LED lights are very bright and nice. You will need to have it on a flat surface for sure or as the instructions suggest, a rail. In my first video, zoomed in at 105mm, you can see the video is a little bouncy despite being on a flat surface. I’ll chalk that up to probably having this thing maxed out on weight and being close to tipping.
I muted the sound in my video but beware, the mic on my 70D picked up the motor on this no problem and it was loud. So whatever video you take, you will have to mute for sure and put the audio on top of it.

It doesn’t go in perfect straight line. It also can topple over with even small camera. So it’s limited

Great little gadget and easy to carry around. The only issue I have is with the hum that the motor puts off, it is very loud and if use are filming video that you also need audio you will have an annoying buzz in the audio. Best solution is to use this for videos you will be adding separate audio to later. Good for doing slide shots on large tables or on the ground I have used both my phone and a dslr on this with no issues. It is made of a very sturdy metal as I was worried that it may have been plastic.
