This is a lightweight, well-constructed, compact and spacious case for GoPro cameras and accessories. There is enough space for my GoPro Hero 5 Black and accessories, including a small tripod, spare batteries and a charger. The foam insert is adequately protective and the shell is solid.
The space for the camera is just slightly too large (maybe it is originally meant to fit the Hero 4), but this is not a major issue.
Would recommend getting the large case if you intend to build up on accessories.

Great case for the price
Comes with the foam pieces that have been pre-cut out – i took a sharp kitchen knife & cut into these foam pieces to make more slots for accessory items. Really neat bit of kit.
Ideally I’d like the zips to meet & close at the carry handle area, not the opposite, though that’s only something i’d be unhappy about if i were paying double the price.
Bargain case & does the intended job perfectly.

I loved the fact that this had lots of removable bits of internal foam for several different GoPro’s/accessories, I was disappointed though when it arrived that it wasn’t modelled on a GoPro or it’s accessories. I have managed to store my GoPro and some accessories in the bag, but unfortunately some of the accessories just do not fit which is a shame.
It is made of a good quality with a strong durable zip, and has a convenient carry handle too, it just would’ve been good if the designers maybe worked with GoPro owners to get a better fit for the accessories.
Considering this was a ‘Large’ you would’ve thought a few more items would’ve fit.

This case is a decent quality and semi-flexible (it’s not “hard shell”). As other reviewers have noticed, the handle is on the opposite side to the zippers–making it seem backwards, but in day-to-day use, I don’t notice.
The foam insert inside the case is firm, and good quality.
It’s a relatively “slim” case–so as long as you’ve got smallish accessories, it’ll hold your stuff really well.
In addition to my GoPro, Sandmarc charger, and extra battery, I somehow managed to get a Jobi suction cup mount into the case, as well as a GoPro suction cup mount–in addition to a floaty handle grip, and lots of odds and ends. But that’s probably due to the semi-flexible nature of the case.
Overall, it’s a good little case where I can store all my GoPro “stuff”.

This is my second “Amazon Basics” electronics case, and I love these things. Tough, cordura nylon covered shell; smooth, durable zippers; convenient elastic pocket in the lid for cards and other small items, and nice inner lining. While this case includes a foam insert designed for a GoPro camera and related accessories, you can customize it to work with anything that’ll fit in it. For example, I’m a musician, and I’m using this one for storage/transport of a variety of XLR and other pro audio connectors/adapters. I pulled out the entire foam insert, and am just using the bare case for this purpose.
Once I received the case, I realized the shape/size is also perfect for compact storage/transport of a set of microphones I like to always keep on hand in my “gig bag,” so I already ordered another one for that use. The foam liner is attached to the inside of the case with a bead of hot glue around the outer edge. So, you can use it with the existing cutouts; modify the cutouts/shapes with a utility knife for your particular use, or just pull the whole thing out. Great case. Great quality. Great price. Very pleased!

The pre-cut openings didn’t work well with the accessories I had, so I used a
Fastcap Kaizen Knife
to modify the pre-cut openings a little bit. You could probably do this with an ordinary razor blade, too.
Changes I made (see attached photo):
* Enlarged 2 lower/middle openings to make 1 large opening hold my GoPro dual bay charger. I leave the spare batteries in this charger so I don’t need the pre-cut battery slots on upper right side — I used that for something else.
* Modified battery slots on upper right side to hold my Memory Cards / cases.
* Added a couple of tiny slots above the dual-bay charger to hold the key/ring for the remote.
What I’ve got in my case:
* Hero 7 Black + Frame
* suction cup mount
* handlebar/pole mount
* dual bay charger
* smart remote
* helmet mount
* memory cards
* multiple USB charging cables
* still some room for misc/small stuff (e.g. adhesive mounts, tethers, etc)
Misc notes:
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the foam. It has a thin top layer which is much more rigid than the bottom, and provides structure and helps the openings keep their shape.
I did have to partially disassemble the suction cup in order to get the case to close flat. But it does fit.
Very pleased with this for merely $16.

The product photo shows a GoPro Hero 5 fitting snugly into the cutout. That’s a bit of Photoshop at work I suspect. The Hero 5, with frame, is quite a bit smaller than the cutout and thus isn’t very secure. I can understand a “one size fits all” strategy, but the product photo does not match reality. The cutout is designed for previous (larger) generation GoPro cameras.

I bought the large case and I am glad I did. It will be nice to have my gopro accessories mostly in one spot. I could probably cram a few more in there but these are the ones that I care about the most. I wish there was a better spot for the waterproof enclosure lids. They aren’t in the picture but I put them in ziplock baggies so they don’t get scratched. You might be able to put them in an insert but they stick out quit a bit.

This is a semi rigid case that Amazon says is designed for a GoPro. It’s not. In fact the shape of the cut outs inside the case have absolutely nothing to do with a GoPro.
Take a look at the main photo, and in particular concentrate your attention to the cut out that the GoPro is sitting in. It doesn’t fit at all. There are those two teeth like bits of foam that stick out, and the GoPro looks like it doesn’t belong there. For a GoPro? Nope.
It’s a con, so I suggest you go for a case that has ‘customizable foam’ where you can pull out small squares of foam to suit your camera and accessories, etc. I found a small “Aluminum flight case for Hero 5/6/7/8” on Fleebay for £16.99 with the customizable foam. On close inspection its got thin black rubber in the base and lid (which the description doesn’t mention) so your camera has added protection. This case is excellent!
Anyway, the Amazon offering is sadly a waste of space, and money.

I really only use my GoPro while traveling and adventuring, so I wanted something that could hold my Hero4, a bunch of mounts (included suction cup mount), my short GoPro stick, extra batteries, and a charger. The large version of this carrying case delivered on all accounts. I really like how easy it is to customize this. I am a very particular person and like everything to have their own spot. This required a bit of cutting, but with a sharp knife and some careful precision, I was able to customize the inside to securely store everything that I need.
If you’re in the market for a GoPro case, look no further. Please let me know if you found this review helpful.

This is a basic case, but it does the job well and is capable of handling a couple of cameras and odd bits of kit. I bought a second after I received this, for an additional camera – a cheapie, that is also quite good, with which I can carry and assortment of bits including a mini tripod stand and ball head that makes a good carry handle. In the case with two cameras, I have additional mounts charging cables and batteries. You can fit a fair bit in these small cases, which is great if you want to shoot some on the fly footage, because you can carry all you need in a small package. If you really need to carry a lot of stuff, then the larger case would be useful, but obviously, the more you carry, the better quality case you need if only because of the weight of the gear. As it is, this is a very handy case for small production videoing.

This thing is a brick. It has that Kaizen foam stuff with a number of cutouts, which may or may not fit your stuff. BUT with sharp knife you can cut, or recut to make it perfect. Good zipper, and did I say it’s bombproof. VERY STRONG and STURDY, due to being packed with that foam, so your GoPro, Insulin, and glucose meters, or other stuff you don’t want smashed or broken could withstand the Apes who work for UPS, Dead X and all. If you are carrying it in a backpack, just don’t get hit by a bullet train, and all your stuff inside will arrive with you intact. Serious protection for your “stuff”
