Different look than the other fake cameras that everyone knows. Has blinking light and motion makes it moves back and forth. The one you want.

Expensive and very hard on batteries, even if you deactivate the motor. Not recommended. I bought 2 and they all ended up in the garbage
Wm David Guerra –
The 2 motion detectors with ability to pan (swivel back & forth) were surprisingly defective. Both did not pan at all. Red blinking light worked on one but that was all. I purchased this exact same item 7 years ago & was very satistified with it but I know they don’t last forever. Hopefully I think I just got a bad batch.
Paul Carpenter Dobson –
Perfect!. I wanted it to put in our guest bathroom as a prank and it works GREAT for that. It’ sensor is great from even 8 feet away, looks killer and the flashing light only adds to the fun. The only thing I would change is that it’s a bit noisy as it turns. It ‘creaks’ with a squeaky noise but I’m alright with it and just wanted to mention it. Great product
John R. George –
Disappointed. You almost have to be on top of it before it activates. They could have at least made the red light continously blink so it’s even noticed.
Tim Toro –
good security camera

I ordered this to mount outside at our rural property that we’re going to build on. It’s going over the ‘Private Drive, No Trespassing” sign. This ad said indoor or outdoor, which I understand to mean it’s outdoor equipment. Wrong. This thing is actually pretty convincing looking, even close up, but it’s got a few flaws that I can see right off. The mounting bracket arm is pretty lightweight plastic. Don’t bump into it with anything after it’s mounted. Looks like it will break easy.. Also, it’s painted silver. That’s fine inside, but it won’t last long outdoors in the elements. #3 is what ruins it as outdoor for me. The battery cover is in the TOP of the body, and there is no type of seal. It’s made to leak. The batteries will be corroded (or flooded, along with the rest of the electronics inside) in no time flat. I could (will) cover it with gorilla tape and hope it won’t leak, but… #4 is good/bad, and that is the panning motion of the camera. It does pick up motion, and it does move back and forth, and an LED light does come on. Problem is, the camera pans a little too fast to look official; pans back and forth about 4 or 5 times, quickly, which looks fake (to me). The simulated wire running from the lens to the body may fall out if you don’t really ram it in there, which would leave it looking broken to an intruder. Better glue it. The panning radius on mine is about 40-50 degrees, which should be at least 70*, if not 90, to look like it’s actually tracking something. UPDATE- As I was sitting here trying to measure the actual motion radius, I heard something click inside and it quit moving. The motor is still operating, but apparently something that attaches the motor to the base has ceased to function. As I said, if you’re inside, it may work. It looks real sitting still. But the quick speed, narrow radius and multiple trips back and forth makes it look like a toy. It’s going back to China. It looked like cheap junk (although realistic at rest), and it is. But you may like it.
